Sorry I missed the reunion, I already had plans to be out of town that weekend. I would have loved to see everyone although I'm not sure anyone would really remember me. I was always kind of quiet and reserved. If there are pictures of the event I would love to see them posted so I could see everyone (with captions hopefully so I would know who I was looking at). I have enjoyed reading about everyone here and was really humbled by the memorial page. There are just too many of us who have already passed away. It was great seeing everyone Saturday evening. I was really nervous about going with fear that I wouldn't remember. But to my surprise so many things came back to me. It's sad that so many years have passed and we have gone our separate ways. I was sad to see the memorial table. Thank you Irma you are the best for getting this reunion underway. I want to also thank the committee for all of their hard work. Next time I will help if needed. I promise! The name tags were great...that was a big plus for me. I didn't know a lot of you until I saw your name tag and picture then I remembered. In my mind I guess I still thought of everyone the way they were in 73. First of all, thanks to the committee for all the hard work you put in for the reunion. I had a wonderful time, enjoyed seeing everyone, and hope we do it again soon!!! Yesterday I was kind of sad because I had looked forward to it for all these months, and then it was over, almost like a wedding or some other big event you plan on for a long time, and then it ends before you want it to. I really enjoyed seeing all the classmates I had gone to school with since elementary days. It brought back so many memories for me. It was a special time for me.

Good Monday to All, Today I was going Trout fishing, but after thinking about Saturday and what a BLAST that I had, I stayed home to write this. So many face's, so many memories, and so much fellowship, it's sad that Saturday has pasted. Saturday 4/19/08 will alway's be a very pleasant memory too me. 10 years...TEN YEARS! We will not wait that long ever again. I'm sure Irma will see to that as well as a few more. I say about last night...un-freaking-believable. The only thing that could have make it better would have been to have it last all week-end...I think! I heard so many nice comments about everything, I think it was enjoyed by most. Thirty five years, it doesn't seem possible. I was also a very shy/quiet classmate but have changed a little over the years. Don Bell (EFHS class of '72) and I have been married for over 32 years and have a daughter (Caroline) who graduated from UNC-CH in 2007 and resides in Charlotte and a son (Alex) who is a high school freshman. My career has been with the City of Winston-Salem and am currently the Chief Financial Officer. Don has a residential elevator business. Look forward to see you all.

I am finally getting excited. I am quite a procrasinator and never plan more than a week ahead but was afraid Irma wouldn't let me attend if I didn't pay up. Such great memories bundled up in everyones stories. Still in Kernersville and married to Terry Weddle for the last 33 years. We have a 19 year old son in his sophmore year at Greensboro College. I have worked for Aladdin Travel for 28 years (25 as a travel agent and the last 3 in accounting). Terry who graduated a year after us is planning to retired from the City of WS Fire Dept this year. Time to study my yearbook. I failed the quiz. We can't wait to see everyone.

It's great to read all the entries. My wife Susan and I look forward to coming back. This will be the first reunion for me. I did not hear about the others. We have four adult children now. The oldest, Chauncey lives with his wife Stephanie and my grandson Isaiah in Winston-Salem. Christopher, 26 is the Artistic Director of the New Horizons Christian Dinner Theater in Alexandria, VA. Aaron, 24 is a 3D animator for an Animation Studio in NYC. And Grace-C, 19 is a sophomore Music Technology major at Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL. God has been kind over the past 35 years and we are ready to celebrate His goodness with all of you on 19 April. God bless.

I have never attended any of the reunions that we previously had, so I'm looking forward to this one. Thanks to Irma.and her committee. I was in BOE in my Senior year of high school (school half day/work half day). Mr. Clodfelter placed me at I.L. Long Construction Co. and I'm still working there. My husband, Don (Parkland'72) and I have two sons, Jonathan (age 27- EFHS'98) and David (age 24-EFHS'01). We have been married for 33 years and still live in Kernersville. Jonathan just finished serving 6 years in the Army. He is married and has a 14 month old son-Jackson. David just joined the Army last July. He is married with twins on the way. I think it's going to get very busy for Grandpa and Grammy. I look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Wow! Thanks you everyone for easing my anxieties over not recognizing ANYONE! It's great to read everyone's tribulations & triumphs! As a proud Eaglette who attended every single football game in HS...I somehow never truly understood what a "first down" was! I've come a long way baby & now a major NFL fan & ACC of course! Go Carolina Panthers. I met my husband Rob @ UNCG & I have been married for 30 yrs. We've lived in Charlotte 27 yrs. My 28 yr old daughter Ashley followed my footsteps in nursing. & will finish grad school this spring from UNC as a nurse practitioner. My 24 yr old son Brandon also from UNC in photojournalism. I'm counting on your help @ the reunion. My limited memories include Mrs. Brown's latin classes, frolicking on the band bus from ballgames (we won't go there!) Mrs. Ross' dreaded anatomy classes. The wrestling team spitting to meet their weight class! Our senior picnic on the hill, And of course those Eaglette routines! See you there.

As of January, 2008, I joined CST, Inc., an import customs brokerage company based in Atlanta. Wow! I am having a ball selling the services I received all those years. It is really an interesting world out there. My husband, Ronald (EFHS '71) of 34 years is an optcian in W/S. Our daughter, Stephanie (EFHS '92) is a 4th grade teacher at K'ville Elementary (she could have taught your children or grands) and is not married. Our son, Patrick (EFHS '96) is a graphic designer for an advertising agency in High Pt; married to Allison (Hord) and have a our only grandchild, William, 2 yrs old. We all live in the K'ville area. My first entry to the Guest Book was a simple message of how excited I am about our reunion. The purpose of this entry is to tell you a little about what's been going on in my life I've been married since '82 to a former high school boyfriend (John Comer)-- however he lived in Wilmington, NC. We dated for about a year after having met at the beach the summer of 1970. We then moved on to other relationships- but reunited in '82, and married almost immediately. We have 3 lovely daughters---Emily, a hair stylist at Trendsetters in K'vegas; Erica, a customer svc rep at Inmark, Inc., and Ellen, a Forsyth Tech student. John is a CVS store manager; I've been with Wachovia for over 30 years. And not to exclude 2 other very important people in my life. Erica is mother to my adorable 4 year old grandson, Aiden. Hi to all, so good to read everyone's comments. I am finally a Grandma, and I thought I loved my kids like crazy but boy do I love this little man of mine. My daughter, Nerissa and her husband live in Monroe, NC and after graduating from Wingate she decided she wanted to be a hairdresser. My son, Emory is a free spirit right now and is living in Red Lodge, Montana working as a bartender and snowboarding any chance he can. It has been over 1 1/2 years since I have seen him and I miss him so much. Everyone sounds so excited to see each other again. Greetings Everyone! I didn't know about the previous class reunions, so this will be my first! After high school and college (Elon), I married and lived in Kansas City and Oklahoma. I moved back to the Triad in the early 80's and have worked in radio sales/marketing at WMAG and WTQR, and television sales/marketing and have been with FOX 8 for the past 9 years. I now live in Sedgefield-in Greensboro, have been married to Barry, for 7 years. I have a daughter, Nikki, 25, a Pediatric Nurse at St. Louis Children's Hospital, who is engaged to be married next year! I was shy back in high school, and didn't know alot of people, but I am thrilled to be able to attend this reunion. Was bored before spring arrived so I went to work for wake forest university and have been there since. I have a lovely wife, 3 wonderful daughters and 2 son-in laws and 1 beautiful granddaughter. I have always been a late bloomer and have 15 year old twins that just started high school...(prayed to God that they would graduate from elementary before I turned 50...barely made it)!
